A popular ramen restaurant will be opening a new location in Oakville near the Mississauga border.

Kinton Ramen, which already has several locations across Canada, will be opening a brand new location at 2501 Hampshire Gate, 1-A2 beside the popular dessert place, D-Spot.

Back in 2014, insauga.com reached out to Kinton Ramen to inquire whether they would ever consider opening up a location in Mississauga. Eventually, they opened up one of their restaurants at 4026 Confederation Pkwy, where it remains today.

Kinton Ramen is best known for its chicken, pork and vegetarian soups, which are made with the restaurant’s signature soup base and complemented by noodles made with an air-tight mixing technique.

Popular menu items include beef original, beef spicy garlic and golden sesame ramen as well as beef donburi.

The menu also offers sides such as edamame, kimchi, karaage, age gyoza and more.

And, for those with a sweet tooth, the menu also offers desserts including kurogoma, matcha and mango cheesecake as well as matcha ice cream.

While there is no official opening date for the new location in Oakville just yet, locals can expect the restaurant to open its doors soon, according to their website.
