The newest offering from The Milton Players Theatre Group, Real Estate, will hit the stage early next month.

The play sees Emma, an incredibly determined real estate agent, decide that Joel is as much of a “fixer-upper” as the house he lives in.

With the addition of Joel’s soon-to-be-ex looking to get divorce papers signed, Emma focuses all her considerable energy into developing the curb appeal of the house, as well as its inhabitant.

The comedy is sure, the characters well drawn, and the circumstances? Hilarious.

Allana Harkin’s play Real Estate premiered at Theatre Collingwood in 2007 and was later produced by Theatre Aquarius, Centaur Theatre, and the Thousand Islands Playhouse.

Real Estate will run for seven shows at FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton May 3 to 5 and May 9-11.

Tickets cost $32, with discounts available for groups of 10 or more, and are available at the online box office.
