Popular Oakville bike shop closes doors and pedals down road to Burlington

A popular Oakville bike shop has packed up and pedalled its business to Burlington.
The Gears Bike Shop in Oakville, located at the corner of Trafalgar Road and Cornwall Road, has closed its doors and moved to 5510 Harvester Rd. in Burlington.
“And that’s all folks,” Gears Bike Shop posted on its Facebook site after the final vehicle pulled out of the Oakville location.
The bike shop offers customers everything from bicycles, helmets, fenders and locks to other essential tools.
Gears Bike Shop also has a store in Mississauga, located at 176 Lakeshore Rd.
Hours for the Burlington Gears location are as follows:

- Monday to Friday – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturday – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Sunday – 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
