A popular musical is set to hit the Meadowvale Theatre in Mississauga next year.

Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical, which is set to hit the theatre in February, is based on the story by British children’s author, Roald Dahl.

The musical tells the tale of Matilda, a little girl with psychokinetic powers who dreams of having a better life.

While she is unloved by her cruel parents, her powers end up impressing her teacher at school named Miss Honey.

The musical also features the story’s iconic headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, who is known for disliking children and coming up with punishments for them.

The show, which has multiple dates, promises “high-energy dance numbers” and catchy songs which are suitable for all ages.
