Wingporium Sports Bar in Port Credit is well known for its massive selection of premium chicken wing flavours, and its menu has just gotten even bigger!

Located at 170 Lakeshore Road East, Wingporium has thrived as one of Mississauga’s best sports and wings bars since its establishment in 2013.

The chain is continuing to expand, and will be opening its biggest location yet this December at 737 Barton Street East in Hamilton (formerly the location of the Prince Edward Tavern).

Based on feedback from customers, the restaurant has recently expanded its menu to include delicious new vegetarian options such as avocado fries, deep-fried brussel sprouts, and zucchini fries. They’ve also introduced a new grilled chicken burger for those looking for a lighter lunch option.

Aside from the new options, Wingporium retains its impressive menu of more than 88 wing flavours, including its popular “Interview with a Vampire” (hot sauce and garlic Parmesan topped with grated Parm) and, for those with more mild tastes, the sweeter albeit messier “Big Boys Cool Toys” (honey garlic, blue cheese, and dry roasted garlic).

Wingporium prides itself on only preparing locally sourced wings, fresh not frozen, to ensure they’re crispy on the outside and incredibly juicy on the inside (which helped them land first on our list of Top 5 Chicken Wing Spots!).

They’re also known for carrying some of the largest wings on the market – twice the size of many of their competitors’.

Other popular menu items include the homemade jumbo beef ribs (also available in any of their 88 flavours) and their top-selling Angus burger. They can be enjoyed with a side salad or the crispy potato wedges served with an irresistible garlic dill dip.

Need a drink to wash your meal down? You can choose from Wingporium’s 27+ beer selection. Their ice-cold draught beer goes great with wings and is available by the pitcher for large group hangouts.

The restaurant is also known for its 2oz cocktails including the popular Elmwood Caesar (served with a spicy pepperette, spicy extreme bean and topped off with an olive).

Wingporium remains one of the best sports bars in the GTA for catching the big game while you eat, with multiple TVs in all of the dining rooms and on the large patio.

Major sporting events are shown with sound, including hockey games, basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis, and golf. Whether you’re a fan of the Leafs, Raptors, Blue Jays, or another team, Wingporium is the place to cheer them on!

The restaurant’s fun environment, occasional live music, and prompt, friendly service make it a welcoming place to hang out. Its spacious patio (one of the largest in Port Credit!) is an ideal spot for hosting large groups and parties, whether you’re with friends, family, planning a date night, or organizing a team-building group activity.

Wingporium features a different Wing Special almost every day of the week, and their wings are available with or without dusting.

The restaurant is proud to be a part of the Port Credit community and is known to participate in community events such as the Canada Day Parade and Southside Shuffle.
