Popular Meltwich sandwich stop charming Niagara Falls customers

Comfort food should simply tingle nostalgically in your mouth, bringing you the same warm feeling that fuzzy slippers touch the toes on a cold winter morning.
And the rules of thumb is simple for comfort food. Cheese, especially of the melted variety, is pretty much essential.
Niagara Falls husband and wife team Sean and Leah Norman know the feeling all too well as they have brought a made-in-Canada outlet of Meltwich Food Co to Town and Country Plaza in the city.
The chain has a singular credo: “With a simple mission ‘Not just good, but great,’ Meltwich Food Co is a fine casual food concept focused on providing delicious and convenient food options with wholesome and healthy ingredients. Vegan options available.”
The sandwich shop has its official ribbon-cutting ceremony last week when Niagara Falls Mayor Jim Diodati and local Councillor Chris Dabrowski popped in with the silk and scissors on February 4.
“We are fortunate to be part of this community and the support we have received the past few months is beyond what we imagined,” the pair said of their restaurant which opened in December.

If the early reviews count, it looks like the couple will be set as a favourite in Niagara Falls for some time to come.
“All I gotta say is WOW! Tried the Philly cheese steak for the first time today and it did not disappoint!” raved one. “Aside from the delicious food, the restaurant was very clean and I felt safe with their Covid protocols. The staff was extremely friendly and was able to keep up with all the demand!”
Another was equally pumped. “This place is SO good, we went for the 1st time little while ago, ending up going three times that week!! Philly cheese steak sandwiches, the smokey banquet burger and the poutine have all been phenomenal. Highly recommend going.”
“Was so excited when this place opened!” added a third. “I was really impressed on how knowledgeable and helpful the staff was after being open less than a week! They helped me choose items off the menu that would please the whole family and THAT it did! Everyone loved it and can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.”
