Popular Korean froyo chain just opened first Canadian location in Toronto

One of Korea’s most popular frozen yogurt chains has just opened their first location in Canada ever, and it can be found in Toronto.

Yaojung has just recently opened in a Toronto neighbourhood, and people are buzzing about the new spot that’s bringing its hype popularity and creative frozen yogurt treats from Korea to Toronto.

They’re known for their innovative frozen yogurt creations that feature super trendy flavours that have gone majorly viral all across social media around the world, such as Dubai chocolate, acai and even tomato.

Some of the ingredients they’re pairing with tomato for the new tomato menu at Yaojung are grapefruit, mango, lychee and honey, so you know that no matter what the menu for the frozen yogurt shop is like here in Canada at the Toronto store, it’s going to be unexpected and hopefully delicious.

On the menu for the Hawaiian location of Yaojung in the United States of America, available toppings include fruits, nuts, honeycomb, candies, powders and syrups, and you might even be able to get toppings like mochi, adzuki bean, cereal and popping boba on your build-your-own frozen yogurt creation.

The frozen yogurt chain Yoajung has locations all over the world, in countries that include China, Japan, Australia and Singapore. There are now over 650 locations of Yaojung across the globe.

“Yoajung has officially arrived in Canada,” reads a post on social media from the Korean frozen yogurt brand. “In a brand new city, a brand new beginning, we’re bringing you an even sweeter experience.”

The social media post has over 1,000 likes on Instagram and several comments from people who are excited to see the Korean concept open its doors in Canada for the first time, and in Toronto at that.

Plenty of people commented on the post with enthusiasm and comments like “finally,” “OMG,” “woohoo” and “can’t wait.”

“Toronto keeps getting more Korean spots lately,” one person noted in a comment on Instagram.
“Scarborough really becoming part of the K-culture map.”

Another person pointed out in a comment on Instagram, “Finally. No need to fly to Seoul.”

Someone else chimed in to say they know that the new Canadian location of Yaojung should hopefully be great, because they’ve tried the original overseas: “Wow, amazing! I’ve tried it in Korea. It’s so delicious.”

Yaojung is now open in Canada in the neighbourhood of Scarborough in Toronto at 3278 Midland Ave.
