After a two-year pandemic hiatus, a popular — and free — Hamilton street festival is coming back this summer for an entire day of family-friendly fun on one of the city’s most beloved avenues.

Concession Streetfest is returning on Saturday, June 11, 2022, and features a stellar lineup of local musicians, artists and street performers.

Local businesses will also be welcoming residents with special promotions and streetside offerings during the day and food trucks will line the street for the event.

Entertainment will be stationed at different locations all along Concession Street between Upper Wentworth and E25th and Streetfest staples, like the Car Show at Mountain Tire, will be back this year as well.

Concession Street will be closed for the day to allow for full pedestrian access and the event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Organizers of the festival have issued a call for volunteers to help with this year’s event. Those interested can submit an application form through the Concession Street BIA website.

More information about Concession Streetfest, including a detailed schedule of performances and locations, can also be found on the Concession BIA website.
