A well-known Canadian fitness studio that has rapidly grown in reach and popularity since its 2019 inception is opening its third location in Toronto in the not-too-distant future.
Today, Sweat and Tonic, a popular wellness facility known for its wide array of fitness classes and premium amenities, announced that its newest location will open in the city’s swanky Yorkville neighbourhood in October.
In a news release, S&T said the new Yorkville facility will span 18,000 square feet and offer about 300 classes a week in its ride studio, heated yoga and Pilates studio, boutique Reformd studio and high-capacity group strength training studio (which it says is the first of its kind in the city).

“Our mission is to bring the best of fitness and wellness under one roof. We’ve created the most comprehensive group fitness and wellness offering in Canada, and each new location has become an opportunity for us to continue elevating the guest experience, deliver what’s important to our community, and provide even more value to our members that can’t be found anywhere else,” said David Ingram, founder of Sweat and Tonic, in a statement.
“We’re evolving with our guests, and staying ahead on the science of fitness and longevity. We’ve created a space that reflects the distinction of the neighbourhood with elevated design details and expanded amenities, and adding to our offerings a unique training experience that brings together the community and connection of group classes, with focused strength training that we know is so critical to improving healthspan and overall well-being.”
S&T opened its first location in the historic Ryrie Building at Yonge and Shuter over six years ago, and in 2023, it opened a second location in The Well. The Well location, situated in the much-talked-about new development in the Front Street West and Spadina Avenue area, includes the brand’s first Tonic Spa.
That same year, S&T began operating south of the border, opening Silver Springs, its sister location, in Los Angeles.
In 2025, the wellness hotspot continued to grow with the launch of Reformd, which it says is the world’s highest-capacity Lagree studio, as well as The Lab, its first dedicated HYROX group training space.

In a news release, S&T says the new facility will boast a strength studio that will offer guests the “highest capacity group strength training experience in the city.” The room will feature 48 spots with 12 workout pods equipped with Rogue weight racks and Keiser cable equipment, state-of-the-art AV, an elevated instructor platform and integrated digital instruction screens.
The Ride studio will boast 55 Technogym bikes, a custom floor-to-ceiling lighting and sound system, and a 300-inch integrated LED mirror display.
The infrared-heated yoga and Pilates studio will offer yoga and Pilates (naturally), as well as mobility, breathwork, meditation, and restorative programming. The studio will include custom chromotherapy lighting, 45 mats on tiered levels, and an elevated instructor platform.

Reformd, S&T’s Lagree Method studio, will feature 17 Mega Pro Megaformers, immersive chromotherapy lighting, and its signature instructor platform.
The new studio will also include a Tonic Bar, the brand’s in-house smoothie bar and cafe, and Tonic House, a members’ lounge, coworking space and event venue.
Other perks will include access to contrast therapy suites with custom-built, dual infrared and electric high-heat saunas and cold plunge tubs in both the women’s and men’s changing rooms.
Access to the pre-opening sale opens on Friday, July 31 at 9 a.m.
The facility will be located at 11 Yorkville Avenue.
