Canada’s longest-running reptile event is making a comeback in Mississauga this weekend.

The event, which aims to bring together those that share a passion for keeping and breeding reptiles, will take place on Jan. 22, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the International Centre, Hall 4, located at 6900 Airport Rd.

For more than two decades, the Reptile Expos have been promoting responsible reptile ownership. As a result, all attendees are encouraged to research and understand what it means to share their lives with a reptile before considering one as a pet.

The upcoming expo in Mississauga will enable attendees to meet both vendors and reptile enthusiasts alike while viewing species of reptilian specialty pets from across the country.

“The Reptile Expo is an opportunity to view firsthand some of the greatest species of reptilian specialty pets from across Canada,” reads the expo’s website.

“It’s an opportunity to be educated by some of the leading curators of these fascinating animals, learn about the advocacy groups and engage with others that share the passion.”

Passes for the expo are available for purchase online which will allow attendees to bypass the line for quick entry.

Gate passes will also be available as of 9:45 a.m. and will cost $18 for adults and $12 for youth and seniors.
