Mississauga’s food scene just got a little bit cheesier with a popular establishment that serves fresh Neapolitan-style pizza and salads.

PI CO pizza bar — famously known for its authentic, custom-crafted Neapolitan pizza that’s fired up in 90 seconds and ready to eat is opening a new location inside the original Square One food court in a few months.

Prior to jazzing up your order, the base of the pizza starts off as a plain Margherita — with dough, sauce and cheese. The customer then has the option of adding unlimited toppings with over 50 different selections to choose from.

The restaurant also has gluten-free options available.

It takes less than two minutes to cook the pizza in a fire oven which raises the soft dough and leaves a bit of char along the crust.

Prices for the pizza are $11.00 for a plain Margherita and customized ones begin at $15.00

If you’re opting for their salads it includes your choice of greens, two proteins, cheese and unlimited toppings.

If you’re craving dessert, you may also want to try their ‘sweet pi’. It follows the same cooking concept except you choose your chocolate bar or Nutella and add unlimited dessert toppings.

As of right now, no official date has been announced for PI CO’s opening except for the ‘Coming Soon —Summer 2023’ sign posted outside of the restaurant.

In the meantime if you want to try out PI CO before its grand-opening, the nearest location is inside CF Sherway Gardens at 25 The West Mall, in Etobicoke.

They are open most days from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
