Popular burger joint opening brand new location in Durham Region

A popular top burger joint that serves great smash burgers is now opening in a brand new area of Ontario: Durham Region.

Rosie’s Burgers has made their mark in Ontario, opening restaurants in Toronto and beyond. However, they couldn’t leave Durham out of the equation and are showing the region a little love by opening a new restaurant in the area.

Rosie’s is known for their classic smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, poutine and even banana pudding.

They now have locations in Toronto, Montreal, Halifax, Hamilton, Burlington, Waterloo and Calgary. Rosie’s Burgers is also planning on opening a location on the West Coast soon in Vancouver.

The restaurant teased the opening of the new location of Rosie’s in Durham Region with a social media post.

People reacted, with the post receiving hundreds of likes on Instagram and dozens of comments, with people saying they’re “looking forward to it,” “excited,” and “can’t wait,” calling the new restaurant opening the “best news ever.”

To celebrate, Rosie’s is giving away 100 free burgers when they open in Whitby, first come first serve, starting at noon.

Rosie’s in Whitby at 1525 Dundas St. E. should be opening on April 11.
