Popular breakfast restaurant Pür & Simple is bringing its 5 must-try dishes to Guelph

Massive breakfast and brunch franchise Pür & Simple is taking the country by storm, and they’re not stopping anytime soon.

The popular Canadian restaurant chain is continuing to open a ton of new locations across Canada. Their newest location opens June 14th at Guelph’s Stone Square Centre near the intersection of Stone Rd W and Edinburgh Rd S.

As part of their grand opening celebration, the new restaurant will offer the first 25 guests on opening day a free meal (value of up to $20)! This offer includes one food item and does not include beverages. Mark your calendars, doors open at 7 a.m. on June 14th.

Pür & Simple’s claim to fame is their Breakfast Reinvented menu, which offers a unique twist on breakfast and brunch classics as well as creative fusions that are as eye-popping as they are delicious.

While they’re primarily known for breaskfast and brunch, their lunch menu has burgers, wraps, sandwiches and even steak tacos. As for drinks, their state-of-the-art Nespresso machine produces amazing specialty coffees, and their fresh OJ is pressed in-house daily – or mix things up with something from their smoothie bar or wide selection of cocktails.

Not only do the dishes boast beautiful aesthetics worthy of Instagram, the restaurant itself has a simple luxury vibe that makes it one of the most comfortable spots around to enjoy a mid-morning meal with friends, family and loved ones.

Everything looks delish on Pür & Simple’s menu, but these five dishes in particular are an absolute must-try:

5. French Toast Crisp

Panko-breaded French toast topped with blueberries, raspberries, English cream, raspberry coulis, whipped cream and fresh mint. Pür & Simple’s artisanal take on French toast provides a sugary sweet taste with a satisfyingly crispy texture.

4. The Canadian

Embrace the Canadian spirit with this traditional breakfast dish of two eggs with bacon, sausage, ham, and your choice of crepe, French toast, pancake or a half waffle.

3. Carole’s Cinna-Cakes

Three cinnamon swirl buttermilk pancakes topped with icing glaze, caramel, and whipped cream. Once you’ve tasted the soft and fluffy texture of buttermilk pancakes, you’ll never want regular thin pancakes again!

2. Ray’s Extravaganza

Bacon, sausage, ham, red & green peppers, red onions, tomatoes, cheddar, Swiss, provolone and Hollandaise sauce. This truly extravagant dish is served hot and fresh right from the skillet.

1. Cinnabacon

Topping the list of must-try dishes is the restaurant’s iconic Cinnabacon: A glazed cinnamon Danish stuffed with scrambled eggs, bacon, cheddar, Swiss and provolone. One bite of this and you’ll be in sweet and savoury heaven.

The new Guelph location joins a family of more than 30 restaurants across Canada, with a total of 55 locations planned by the end of 2023.

Pür and Simple is a major Canadian franchise started by seasoned Canadian restaurateurs, but each location is entrenched in its community just like a local restaurant – so not only is the food great, it’s a great way to support local business.

Craving breakfast, brunch or lunch? Be sure to try Pür & Simple when it opens in Guelph on June 14th (get there early to avoid the lines and enjoy a free meal on opening day!). Customers can also order online for takeout or delivery.
