A popular beauty chain has plans to open a new location in Mississauga.
Global retailer Sephora will open in Erin Mills Town Centre.
“Coming soon” signs are posted on a shop on the lower level of the mall near central court, where Ardene’s used be, according to a post on Reddit.
The company did not immediately respond to a request for more information on the new shop.
Sephora features a variety of beauty products from more than 300 brands.
This will be the third Sephora location in Mississauga, and people are excited.
“Great news,” one person said on Reddit.
“Really happy to see EMTC get its storefronts filled,” another person said. “Some excellent recent additions, including Structube.”
The first Sephora opened in Square One Shopping Centre, and the second location opened at Heartland Town Centre in 2019.
Sephora was founded in Paris in August 1970, named after Moses’s wife, Zipporah. The company was sold in 1997 and began to expand globally.
Sephora Canada’s first retail location opened in 2004, and by 2022, there were 100 stores across the country.
