A popular band from the ’80s is set to perform a show in Mississauga soon.

Spoons, a Canadian chart-topping band formed in Burlington in 1980, is set to perform at Classic Bowl Mississauga, located at 3055 Dundas St. West on Apr. 30.

Over the years, the band has “defined the sound of pop and New Wave in the ’80s,” with hits such as “Nova Heart”, “Romantic Traffic”, “Old Emotions” and “Tell No Lies”.

Their album, Arias & Symphonies has also been named one of the 20 Most Influential Albums of The ’80s by “the Chart” Magazine.

The upcoming show in Mississauga will enable guests to be transported back to the ’80s with the band’s hit songs.
