A unique venue has just become available for Brampton residents seeking to tie the knot this summer.

The City of Brampton has reintroduced its civil marriage ceremonies at the Farmer’s Market, which it says are back by popular demand.

Setting the stage for these memorable unions is the popular Gage Park gazebo, nestled in the heart of Downtown Brampton.

For a reasonable fee of $350, couples can embark on their marital journey with the guidance of a city marriage officiant.

However, with limited availability, time is of the essence for couples looking to secure their spot. They will need to book their spot in-person at city hall during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

A full payment and a valid marriage license must be presented or purchased at the time of booking ($160).

Here are the important dates to keep in mind:
  •  July 15: Secure your spot by booking in-person before July 7
  • August 26: Book in-person before August 18 to reserve a spot
  •  September 16: Ensure your spot by booking in-person before September 8

“This long-awaited event promises to create cherished memories as couples say ‘I do’ under the beautiful Gage Park gazebo,” according to city officials.
