If you’re looking for a last-minute (or slightly belated) Valentine’s Day gift and you want to support Black entrepreneurs and creators (which is a great thing to do during Black History Month and every other month), you might be happy to hear that Black Owned Toronto recently opened a pop-up shop in Square One in Mississauga.
The shop, located near Simons on level 2, opened on Feb. 10.
According to Black Owned Toronto’s website, the shop offers a range of products created by small businesses from across the GTA, including skincare, haircare, candles and children’s toys.
The shop also offers culinary products such as sauces and seasonings, cosmetics, jewellery, crystals, incense, home decor, stationary and more.
“This new store inside Square One will focus on giving local businesses a chance to showcase their brand in a high-traffic mall!” the brand’s website reads.
Black Owned Toronto also operates another store inside Scarborough Town Centre.
