Justin Trudeau would make the best prime minister of Canada, but a large number of Mississauga residents are undecided, according to the latest poll conducted by insauga.com.

The poll, which ran for 24-hours and concluded yesterday, had 2,731 participants and asked the question: “Who would make the best prime minister of Canada?”

By far, Liberal leader Justin Trudeau had the most votes with 882.

But less than a month before the federal election, the poll shows that many electoral votes are still up for grabs as 758 people are still undecided as to who they think is the best person to run the country.

While Trudeau and the undecided came first and second in the poll, the NDP’s Jagmeet Singh was third on the list with 694 votes.

Well behind as the people’s choice was Conservative leader Erin O’Toole who had 397 votes.

The results found by insauga.com appear to echo those of national polls that show that most still favour Trudeau as the best person to lead the country. However, despite the popularity of the current prime minister, other polls indicate the Liberal and Conservatives are deadlocked in the minds of Canadians when it comes to who they are going to vote for in the upcoming federal election.

Election day is Monday, September 20.
