Two-thirds of Mississauga residents who responded to an informal poll yesterday say they believe three doses of vaccine against COVID-19 are not needed in order to be considered fully vaccinated.

The poll, conducted by insauga.com on Instagram over a 24-hour period, shows that 67 per cent of those who responded believe “fully vaccinated” should not be defined as having three doses of vaccine.

On the other side, 33 per cent of respondents said that three doses should be necessary in order to be considered fully vaccinated.

The question posed to readers was: Should “fully vaccinated” be defined as three doses?

In total, 3,446 people responded to the poll, with 2,301 saying three doses should not be required in order to be considered fully vaccinated and 1,145 saying three doses should be necessary.
