Nearly two of every three Mississauga residents who responded to an informal poll yesterday say they support the Canadian truckers’ convoy as it makes its way to Ottawa in protest of mandatory vaccinations for truckers crossing the border.

The poll, conducted by insauga.com on Instagram over a 24-hour period, shows that 64 per cent of those who responded support the truckers’ convoy, which began in B.C. and is expected to cause traffic delays on the QEW in Mississauga today as it makes its way to Ottawa for the weekend.

On the flip side, 36 per cent of respondents said they do not support the convoy.

The question posed to readers was, simply: “Do you support the truckers’ convoy?”

In total, 2,632 people responded to the poll, with 1,673 indicating support for the truckers’ protest and 959 saying they do not support the convoy.
