Police urge witnesses to come forward in Newtonville shootings

Investigators are appealing to witnesses to come forward in identifying the suspects from a shooting at a house party in Newtonville last weekend.

On Sunday, June 19 at approximately 1:45 a.m., members from East Division were dispatched to an armed person call on Concession Road 4 near Newtonville Road.  Officers arrived on scene and found three victims with gunshot wounds and one person who attended a local hospital with a stab wound. Two of the shooting victims remain in hospital but are expected to make a full recovery.

The suspect vehicle is described as a white or silver compact sedan. This vehicle was parked at the residence prior to the incident and fled westbound on Concession Road 4 towards Highway 115 with several suspects around 1:35 a.m. to 1:45 a.m. There were more than one hundred teens at this party and police are appealing to any witnesses that may have video evidence to come forward.
