Police still searching for one of four teen suspects involved in Oakville high school stabbing

Four Oakville teenagers have been charged after an altercation at a local high school that resulted in two teenagers being stabbed at a local high school on Wednesday afternoon (Dec. 7).

The three 15-year-old victims have been treated and released from hospital.

Halton Regional Police responded to a call at around 4 p.m. on Wednesday of a fight that had broken out between a group of youths in the foyer of Garth Webb Secondary School in Oakville.

Police arrived to find two 15-year-olds suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds to their bodies, while a third victim had a bloodied nose.

All three were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The high school was placed under lockdown as Halton police investigated and cleared the school.

Police identified four teenagers as suspects involved in the altercation

A 15-year-old male from Oakville was located at the school and placed under arrest.  He has been charged with:

  • Assault
  • He was released on an Undertaking.

Shortly after the incident, a 17-year-old male from Oakville was arrested in the area of Merchants Gate and Third Line.  He was put through Youth Diversion for the charge of Assault.

A 15-year-old male from Oakville was located at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Thursday (Dec. 8) in the area of Merchants Gate and Third Line. He was arrested and charged with:

  • Assault
  • Assault with a Weapon
  • Assault Cause Bodily Harm (2 counts)
  • Carry Concealed Weapon
  • Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
  • Fail to Comply with Release Order
  • He was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Police are still searching for a 19-year-old male suspect from Oakville. A warrant has been issued for his arrest for the offences of:

  • Assault with a Weapon (2 counts)
  • Assault Cause Bodily Harm (2 counts)
  • Carry Concealed Weapon
  • Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
  • Fail to Comply with Release Order
