Police still looking for ladder bandits after attempted B & E in Pickering

Police are still searching for two suspects who used a ladder to try to break into the second floor of a home in Pickering in April.

Durham Regional Police said two white men were spotted attempting to access the second story of the house with a ladder just before 7 p.m. on April 26.

The suspects were unable to enter the home and fled, police said.

Both suspects were wearing a white mask, black hooded sweater/jacket, blue shorts and black shoes. The first suspect had a green/black coloured backpack, while the second man had a black backpack.

Anyone with cellphone, dash cam, surveillance footage, or any information about this incident is asked to contact Det. Obront of the West Crime Team at 1-888-579-1520 x 1905.
