Police seeking witnesses related to assault that occurred in Jayfield Park in Brampton

Peel Regional Police (PRP) is urging potential witnesses to an assault that occurred in Brampton contact them.

On Tuesday (September 21), PRP was called to Jayfield Park in the area of Williams Parkway and Torbram Road after a young woman was assaulted by a man who approached her on a bike.

The woman suffered minor injuries as a result of the altercation, after which the man fled the scene.

He’s believed to be between the ages of 18 and 30, and he’s described as approximately 5’8” tall, roughly 200 lbs, with medium length dark coloured beard. He was wearing prescription glasses; a red, zip-up sweater; red track pants; a baseball cap; and a green, camouflage-patterned face covering.
