Police seeking witnesses of hit-and-run that occurred in Brampton

Police are still seeking witnesses of a hit-and-run that occurred in Brampton.

At 6:45 p.m. on Sunday (September 26), first responders were called to the area of James Potter Road and Ashby Field Road in relation to a 66-year-old woman who was hit by a car.

According to police, the driver stopped briefly, before fleeing the scene.

The woman was taken to a nearby trauma centre with serious injuries.

Investigators are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage, or anyone with any information on the suspect or vehicle is asked to call investigators with the Major Collision Bureau at  905-453–2121, extension 3710.
