Police seeking witnesses after toddler killed by delivery truck in Mississauga

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Mississauga involving a 19-month-old boy.
Peel police say that on Wednesday, Aug. 12, a 25-year-old man from Brampton was driving a delivery van in the parking lot of a building located at 2365 Confederation Parkway when he allegedly struck a toddler.
The child was with his mother at the time of the incident.
The child suffered life-threatening injuries and he and his mother were transported to hospital by the driver.
The toddler succumbed to his injuries later that day.
Police are asking anyone with any information, video surveillance or dashcam footage from the parking lot between 5:15 p.m. and 5:35 p.m. to please contact the Major Collision Bureau or provide information anonymously by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
