Police seeking to identify suspect who entered unoccupied vehicle in Burlington

Halton police are seeking to identify a suspect who entered an unoccupied vehicle near New Street and Appleby Line in Burlington on May 2, 2021, between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.

According to police, the suspect stole a number of financial cards belonging to the victim.

At approximately 5:45 a.m., the suspect attended a nearby gas station and purchased a number of items with the stolen financial cards, police say.

According to police, the suspect is described as male, white, appears to be between 20-30 years of age, is 6’0 and 200lbs. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded jacket and black, white and red toque.
