Police seek public’s help in finding man wanted for uttering threats in Oshawa area

Police are looking the public’s help in finding a man wanted for threatening who is believed to be in the Oshawa area.

Durham Police began their investigation Saturday morning after receiving information that the suspect was “threating to cause harm” to another person.  Police have been unable to locate the suspect and are now appealing to the public for assistance.

A warrant has been issued for Justin Bodnarchuk, 41, of no fixed address.  Bodnarchuk is wanted for two counts of uttering threats.

Police are cautioning residents that if you see the suspect, no not approach him. Instead, call 9-1-1. Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the suspect should contact Det. Gordon of the East Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 1615.
