Police seeking public’s assistance after pedestrian struck by vehicle in Milton

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the vehicle and driver involved in a fail to remain collision in Milton.

Police say on Friday, May 21, 2021, at approximately 1:50 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Derry Road and Ontario Street South.

Police say the female victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to police, witnesses have described the vehicle to be a blue sedan. The vehicle did not remain at the scene of the collision and was last seen northbound on Ontario Street South, police say.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the collision. Police are also interested in speaking with anyone who may have a dashcam video of the incident and/or area at that time.
