Police seeking potential witnesses to fatal shooting in Mississauga

Police are urging residents of Mississauga who may have information regarding a recent shooting to contact them.

On Wednesday (September 22) at around 8 p.m., Peel Regional Police (PRP) was called to the area of Mid-Way Boulevard and Columbus Road where they found a man who had been shot.

Despite the best efforts from first responders, the man succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.

There is currently no description of the suspect or suspects, as they fled the scene prior to the arrival of PRP.

Police believe a food delivery driver may have witnessed the incident, and they’re urging them, as well as anyone else who was in the area at the time, to contact investigators at 905-453-2121 extension 3205.
