Police seeking assistance to identify suspect in Georgetown theft incident

Halton police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect in a Georgetown theft incident.

Police say on March 16, 2021, during the early hours, an unidentified suspect rode their bicycle into the underground parking structure located at 171 Main St. S, in Georgetown and stole tools valued at approximately $500.00.

According to police, the suspect was wearing a black jacket, black pants with red patches on the outer lower legs, black running shoes with white soles, black gloves, a black hood, a black scarf and a high visibility safety vest.

The suspect vehicle is described as a mountain bike, with a female frame, silver frame colour, oversized seat, yellow brake lines and bright yellow rims on both the front and rear tires, police say.
