Police seek witnesses to midnight drive-by shooting in Mississauga

Police are seeking witnesses to a midnight drive-by shooting that occurred in the Meadowvale area of Mississauga last week.
Peel Regional Police 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau officers say they need the public’s help in tracking down the shooter and any accomplices after a 30-year-old man was shot near Glen Erin Dr. and Britannia Rd. W. at 12:20 a.m. on Jan. 5.
The man was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries, but has since improved, police say.
The suspect vehicle sped away from the scene. It’s described as a dark-coloured SUV.
Police say their investigation is still in the early stages.
