Police seek witnesses to deadly Mississauga crash that killed Brampton man

Police are seeking witnesses to a July 2 crash in north Mississauga that killed a 20-year-old Brampton man.

Peel Regional Police arrested and charged a Milton man yesterday (Aug. 18) in connection with the two-vehicle crash that occurred just after 10:30 p.m. at Derry Rd. and Ninth Line.

A 20-year-old Brampton man, identified by another media outlet as Kalyan Krishnareddygari, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say a 20-year-old woman was seriously injured in the collision.

Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are now appealing to members of the public for help.

Renzo Gomez, 44, of Milton, is charged with dangerous operation cause death, impaired operation cause death, dangerous operation cause bodily harm and impaired operation cause bodily harm.

He was held for a bail hearing and later appeared in Brampton court.
