Police are seeking the public’s help identifying a woman who was found wandering in an east Mississauga neighbourhood on Tuesday.

Investigators with Peel Regional Police said the woman, who identified herself as Rokeya Begum “but appears to be suffering from memory loss,” was found walking on Forestwalk Circle just south of Bristol Road East near Nahani Way.

Police added the woman, who speaks Bengali, has been unable to provide them with a home address.

She did tell investigators, however, that she has a son named Roman “who may work at a TD Bank.”

Police said officers are pursuing leads, but have been unable to locate the woman’s family.

Anyone who recognizes the woman or who has any relevant information is urged to call police at 905-453-3311.
