Police seek public’s assistance in locating missing woman from Mississauga

Dirt bike crash sends youth to hospital with injuries in Brampton

Update: Police said on Wednesday that Mahinder has been located. Police thanked members of the public for their assistance.

Peel Regional Police are looking for a 78-year-old woman last seen in Mississauga today (Oct. 17).

Identified as Mahinder, police say that she was seen in Oscar Peterson Blvd. and Southwind Rd. area.

She is described as being approximately 5 feet tall, with a heavy build, medium complexion, glasses, and white hair.

At the time of his disappearance, she was wearing an Indian suit with a black hoodie and a black shawl. Mahinder also walks with the assistance of a cane.

The last known sighting of Mahinder was at 7:02 a.m. when she was observed walking eastbound on Tacc Drive in Mississauga.

Family members and local authorities are concerned for her well-being and safety.
