Police seek public’s assistance in Mississauga shooting investigation

Investigators from the Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking public’s assistance in an ongoing investigation into a shooting incident that took place last weekend.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Britannia Rd N., and Creditview Rd. in Mississauga at approximately 1:35 a.m. on June 24.

Reports indicate that a 26-year-old male victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds during the incident.

Emergency services swiftly responded to the scene and subsequently transported the injured victim to a trauma center, where he remains in serious but stable condition.

In their efforts to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the shooting, investigators are urging anyone with information or dash cam footage during the time of the incident to reach out to police.
