Police seek help in identifying possible Brampton shooting suspects

Peel Police and investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking assistance from the public in regards to a shooting investigation in the City of Brampton. 

On Aug 31, 2020, at 3:44 p.m., police say they were called to a cemetery in the area of Chinguacousy Road and Bovaird Drive in Brampton in relation to a shooting that had occurred between several people.

Peel police say during the course of the initial investigation, three victims were located suffering from gunshot wounds.

One man was located on Mistdale Crescent and was transported to a trauma centre.

A second man was located at a Firehall in the area of Hurontario Street and Steeles Avenue and was transported to a local hospital.

A third man walked into a Brampton hospital seeking treatment.

Police also say there were four vehicles in the cemetery and that a school and house nearby experienced damage as a result of the gunfire, however, no further victims were located.

Police have obtained photos of three men who are considered persons of interest in this case.
