Niagara Police are looking for video footage or photos after two teenage women were involved in a lunch-hour skirmish at a Grimsby McDonald’s on October 14.

Police learned that students from both West Niagara Secondary School and Blessed Trinity Secondary School were gathered at the fast-food restaurant at noon where two ladies had a brief spat.

One woman slapped and punched another several times and while the victim had minor injuries, they didn’t need any medical attention.

The one woman was arrested by the police and charged with one count of assault. She was released into the custody of her legal guardian. She cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Police learned there was a group of students watching the assault and believe there may be photographs and a video circulating.

Anyone in possession of either is encouraged to contact the lead investigator by dialing 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009263.
