Police are searching for five male suspects following two home invasions in Mississauga.

Peel police say the two incidents, one of which reportedly involved a gun being fired, involved homes with luxury vehicles parked in the driveway.

According to police, the first incident occurred around 1:40 a.m. on Sept. 3. Police allege that five suspects forced their way into a home, demanded money and discharged a firearm into the floor.

No serious physical injuries were reported.

All of the suspects are described as males who were seen wearing masks, dark hooded sweaters, dark pants and gloves.

Police allege that several of the suspects stole the victims’ 2021 Bentley Bentayga with a personalized licence plate reading MTG PWR. The other suspects reportedly fled the area in a Nissan Murano that they arrived in.

Police also say that on Aug. 27, 2021, a separate home invasion occurred in Mississauga where similar demands were made by suspects with the same description.

There were no physical injuries sustained in that incident.

“These males should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone that sees the vehicle or the suspects is asked to not approach them but to instead call 9-1-1 immediately,” police said in a statement.

“In both cases, high-end luxury vehicles were parked in the driveways of the victims’ residences. At this time it is unknown if the two robberies are related or if the vehicles were the intended target of the robbery.”

Police are advising residents to ensure there is adequate lighting around their homes, park their vehicles in the garage when possible, refrain from opening the door to people they do not know and calling police if they witness any suspicious activity in their area.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to contact the Central Robbery Bureau at 905-453-2121 extension 3410.
