Police searching for suspect who allegedly abducted, drugged and sexually assaulted woman in Hamilton

Hamilton and Brantford police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with an alleged abduction and sexual assault that took place in Hamilton last month.

Police say that around 3:30 am on April 27, a woman was abducted from the Barton St. E. and Wellington St. area by an unknown male suspect.

Police say the suspect was driving a red, two-door Jeep Wrangler with a black hard top and black plastic fenders.
According to police, the victim was drugged and driven to a remote location in Brantford, where she was sexually assaulted and abandoned.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 30s or early 40s who is approximately 5’11’, with a medium to heavy build. He is balding and has a brown goatee and a tattoo on his right upper arm. He was reportedly wearing frameless eyeglasses.
