Police Searching for Robbers Armed with Knife in Mississauga

Peel Police are appealing for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in an armed robbery in Mississauga.
The incident occurred Friday afternoon (July 7) at around 3:00 p.m. A 49-year-old woman was approached by two men while walking in Brandon Gate Park.
One of the men held a knife to the woman’s throat and demanded her purse, which she handed over. The robbers then fled the scene on foot.
The victim did not suffer any injuries, fortunately.
The suspect with the knife is described as a black male in his 20’s, 5'4 - 5'5, wearing a white t-shirt and jeans. The second suspect is also a black male in his 20’s, wearing a black t-shirt and jeans.
