UPDATE: Police Searching for Missing Teenage Girl in Mississauga

Police are appealing to the public for help in locating a missing Mississauga teen.

Peel police are looking for 16-year-old Heather Kusano, who they say was last seen at her home in the Britannia and Tenth Line area and is believed to be heading for Toronto. 

Kusano is 5’5″ and 120 pounds with olive skin and long black hair with blue ombre. 

She was last seen wearing a grey True Religion sweatshirt, black trackpants, black Vans high top shoes and a Blue Jays world series baseball cap (worn backwards). She was also carrying a black backpack. 

Family and police are concerned for her well-being.

Anyone who sees her is asked to call police. 

UPDATE: Police say Kusama has been located.
