Construction worker finds 'possible human remains' in Ontario town

Police are asking for witnesses to come forward following the death of a Brampton man in a motorcycle crash on the weekend.

The OPP says officers received multiple calls around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday about a collision on Hwy 407 near Hwy 27 in Vaughan.

When officers arrived they found Peel Paramedics were already on the scene attending to a 35-year-old male motorcycle driver.

The man, who has been identified as from Brampton, was pronounced dead at the scene. The eastbound lanes of Hwy 407 were closed for several hours by emergency crews and the investigation is ongoing.

Police say the motorcycle was located nearby and was heavily damaged in the crash, and investigators believe there were multiple witnesses to the collision. Police have not said whether any other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash, has information regarding the incident, or may have dashcam footage from the area to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS or by visiting www.PeelCrimeStoppers.ca.
