Police search for unidentified ATV riding trailer thief in St. Catharines

Police are looking to identify the man who broke into a business with an ATV to steal a trailer.
The business owner called Niagara Regional Police on Aug 3. about the stolen trailer. They captured security footage of the man breaking into the compound, and hooking the flatbed trailer up to his ATV around 3 a.m. The trailer, a black 2017 Advantage landscape, is worth roughly $8,000.
Investigators are calling on any witness who saw a red ATV in the area. The thief was wearing a blue jacket and a grey helmet. Anyone with information can call police at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009782 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
