Police search for missing Mississauga man as family fears for his safety

Police and family members of a missing Mississauga man are asking members of the public for help in finding him.

Peel Regional Police say Michael Boothman, 56, was last seen last night (Feb. 3) at about 9:30 p.m. at a home near Mavis Rd. and Hwy. 407 in the city’s north end.

Investigators with the Peel police 11 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau say Boothman is believed to be driving a white 2015 Nissan Rogue bearing licence marker AZXR 949.

Boothman is described as white, 5-foot-11, 170 pounds, with a slim build, dark brown hair, and a beard and moustache. He’s believed to be wearing a puffy blue winter jacket.

Investigators say they and family members are concerned for his well-being.
