Police search for injured man in Mississauga

Police take steps to better support South Asian community with new support team in Mississauga and Brampton

Peel Regional Police ask for the public’s help in locating an injured man walking in Mississauga.

Police say they received a call at 11:30 a.m. about a bleeding man seen traveling eastbound on Rathburn Rd. just past Hurontario St.

He is described as a black man with a slim build. He had a plastic bag around his arm.

The caller also said the man was traveling with a large quantity of bottles on him.

Officers are concerned for his wellbeing and are currently in the area performing a ground search.
