Police search for 69-year-old missing woman in Brampton

Peel Regional Police ask for the public’s help in locating a missing 69-year-old woman in Brampton.

Sarabjit Chaney was last seen traveling on foot yesterday (July 8) in the area of Castlemore Rd. and Airport Rd.

She is described as a South Asian female with shoulder length, “salt and pepper” hair. She is wearing black traditional Indian clothing and carrying a brown bag or purse.

Police received a call from concerned family members around 3:20 p.m. yesterday (July 8). Officers made a post about the missing woman shortly after 10 p.m. on the same day.

At the time of publication, police continue to search for Chaney.
