Niagara Police believe the same man robbed two Niagara Falls gas stations in the early hours this morning (June 29).

The back-to-back gas station robberies at 4:50 am and 5:15 am happened first in the Drummond Road and McLeod Road area with the second robbery happening in the Thorold Stone Road and Dorchester Road area.

Police say the suspect entered both gas stations, armed with a handgun and got an unknown amount of cash and lottery tickets before taking off.

Police got surveillance footage of the suspect and believe he committed both robberies.

He is described as a white male, 35 to 45 years old, with blond hair in a bun and shaved on the sides.

He was wearing sunglasses, a dark hoodie, dark sweatpants and black boots. (Photos below)

Police are asking the public for help identifying the suspect who is believed to be armed and dangerous but said he should not be approached. They say call 911 immediately if he is sighted.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the lead detective at 905-688-4111, option #3, extension #1009494.
