Police Responding to Reported Shooting in Mississauga

Police say officers are responding to reports of a shooting in Mississauga.
Peel police say a call regarding the incident came in at 12:12 p.m.
The reported shooting took place at Acorn Place, which is located in the Eglinton and Hurontario area.
Updates to follow.
UPDATE:
Police say the victim will be transported to a Toronto trauma centre.
Acorn Place is closed at Ellia Ave for the investigation.
Residents are asked to please avoid the area.
