Police responding to males trying to jump from bridge into Credit River in Mississauga

Officers are responding to a potentially dangerous situation in Mississauga this afternoon (July 25).

Police were called at 3:37 p.m. for a report of three males trying to jump from the Lakeshore Rd bridge into the Credit River.

It’s unknown at this time if there were any injuries.

UPDATE: Police have located the three males, who are uninjured.

“A reminder to all that the waters are not that deep in that area, and there are quite a few items underneath the water that can cause serious injury,” police said.
